Week Recap - New Boat and Lots of Books

My hubby loves fishing, so this week we took the plunge and bought a new boat. We had an old boat and it was uncomfortable for me, especially when I am reading. LOL. I love to read while my husband is fishing, I normally have a rod in my hand, but I am more focused on the book.
Friday a couple of our friends got married, we it was a lot of fun to hang out and let off a little steam dancing!
We took our new boat out yesterday even though it was a cold morning. I was wearing a winter hat, long johns and wool socks! The boat worked great, but the fish were not cooperating!

  1. You know you are a book lover when you even your boat is book comfort friendly lol. This post made me smile lol. :)

  2. I just finished P.S I Still Love You by Jenny Han yesterday! Adore her books. They are always such a hit for me. I'm about to start The Duff and I believe Lying Out Loud is a companion of some sort to that book. :)

  3. You read while your husband fishes? That sounds like a really lovely way to spend a day. :)

I recently bought To All the Boys I've Loved Before for my kindle - I'm hoping to get to it soon!

  4. New boat sounds fantastic! I've not long read The Duff need to reading Lying Out Loud it sounds good.

  5. I just started P.S. I Still Love You last night. I'm enjoying it so far. I definitely need to check out her other books. And oh, a companion to The Duff! How did I not know about this? Definitely adding it to by TBR list. Thanks for sharing!

  6. The new boat sounds brilliant but I wouldn't be very comfortable because whenever I go on a boat I end up curled up in a ball praying that I get back to land as soon as possible!

  9. Congratulations to the new couple! And your new boat looks awesome! :) Just looking at the covers, Boring Girls and the Perfectionists look really interesting but I heard good things about To All the Boys I Love Before and PS. I Still Love You. I'm not much of a YA contemporary reader but I'll definitely try these books first when I get in the mood :) Awesome haul!

  14. It looks like a fun week. I look forward to seeing what you think of The Perfectionists. I have been finding that readers feel pretty strongly one way or another.

  15. I'm not a fishing kind of girl. If I ever went out on a fishing boat, I'd probably be like you with a book in my hand. That is a nice boat though.
