Week Recap - Gingerstaches

This was a fairly uneventful week. Work went quickly, which is nice. Monday was beautiful and then it turned into fall quickly. It was crisp and cool so quickly, no time to adjust! Poo! I am hoping that we get a few more nice days, I am not ready to give up summer yet. Thursday we had a company picnic. It is always fun to get together with co-workers outside of work, but it definitely was a chilly evening!

This Week on A Flurry of Ponderings:
Monday - Review of Stitching Snow (DNF)
Wednesday -Waiting on Wednesday with The Skinnytaste Cookbook
Thursday - Featured Blogger - Forever Obsession
Saturday - Review of The Truth About Alice

Upcoming Reviews:
I won this amazing prize pack from Icey Books! Cannot wait to get started on these awesome books!

Now for a NaNoWriMo question - what app do you use to write on your iPad? I haven't been fully happy with either Evernote or Google Drive, especially when I don't have an internet connection. What is your preference?

  1. I enjoyed Landline...and have Fangirl on Sparky, my Kindle. Hope to read it soon!

  2. I love the autumn, but I'm always reluctant to let summer go as well. I found Landline to be very charming, and still need to read Fangirl.

  3. I feel awful about it but I have yet to read a Rainbow Rowell novel. I hear she's great! Happy reading :)

  4. Oh wow! those are some great books!
I hope you enjoy them! I loved The Taking, but the others look great!
    Thanks for stopping by!

  5. I've always used Google Docs for NaNo, but it's inconvenient because it's on the internet. ;) I'd rather spend time on GoodReads or blogger than writing.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  6. Fun looking prize pack-congrats on winning it!

  7. Thank you for stopping by and following me, I'm now following your blog via GFC!
I hope you have a great week :)

  8. Oh, I'm sad that you didn't like Stitching Snow. I was excited about that one.
And no, I have no ideas about writing on an iPad. It's really not ideal...

  9. Looks like you have a full week of reviews ahead of you, I can't wait to see what you think of Confessions :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  11. Wow, you won so many books!! :O So jealous! And, DNF Stitching Snow?? Ohoo

  12. Woah, you sure scored well with that win! LUCKY YOU!!! I've never written on an iPad. I can't really imagine it....I think I'd get frustrated. But you're doing NaNo?! Cool. I'm considering it... ;)
Thanks for stopping by @ Notebook Sisters!

  13. I've heard of most of your books thought they are not my genres for reading but I hope you enjoy them. Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog!

  14. So many interesting and good looking books you have here! Happy reading! :)

  15. Nice haul there. Brilliant prize.

Thanks for stopping by mine x

  16. Wow, that is a great prize pack! I really liked Fangirl, but still need to read Landline. I hope you get a few more warm days before it turns into fall for real. Hope you have a great week!

  17. Nice haul! I really need to work on reading more in the Throne of Glass series. I've only read the first one. >.<

And I've never been able to do NaNoWriMo on my iPad. I always go to my laptop whenever I need to edit or update my account or to write. It's just easier and quicker to get all my thoughts and words out on the computer. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

New follower! Feel free to check my blog out! It'd be great to talk books! :D
