August Recap - Sad Summer is Over

August flew by so fast, I cannot believe that Fall is coming. I am not ready for the leaving changing colors, football, pumpkin spice and sweatshirts. Please please we need more summer.

I did not do well with reading this month. I read way less books than every other month this year, I have just been lazy with reading. Poo on me! But I did read some good ones, so that is good!

So anyway, guess I need to get back to reality and get on board with September. It is coming no matter what I think.

  1. I have never been much of a summer fan mostly because I can't stand being so hot. Fall and Winter are my seasons. I absolutely love sweaters and I love hot chocolate all the more! We're all different so that's cool!

I've been straddling the fence about The Truth about Alice so I'm interested to see what you thought!

  2. I'm a summer person. I live for heat(although we haven't had it this summer). But I do love sweaters. There's something about a cozy sweater. Lol.
A lot of people have been saying August was a terrible reading month for them. Maybe you guys just wanted to enjoy the last bit of summer? :)
    Happy reading!

  3. I was born in the wrong country. I'm a summer girl, but most of the times we hardly have a real summer over here.. We've been quite lucky this year, though :) I can't believe it's already September.

  4. You have read both Angelfall and Ruin and Rising this month! Awesome! I loved both and really I cannot wait to get the third book in Angelfall series. I'm so sad that summer is over :( I always wish for more free time to read. Great post! :)

  5. It's funny how 10 seems so little to us even though some people take months just to read 1 book. :P But I think your month was more of quality over quantity since you read some really good ones. I read Angelfall this August too. It was pretty good.

  9. Hahah I'm super excited for the fall! But I know I'm going to hate winter augh! And those are some really nice reads! I haven't been reading much either, especially with school now! But as long as I'm reading at least once in a while then it's fine!

  10. I'm super excited for fall! I've never been a fan of summer - the heat gives me headaches and makes me dizzy. I love the fall because I get to drink shameless amounts of tea and stay inside with a book while it rains outside. ♥

Having said that, I can't believe it's September already. Where the hell did 2014 go?
