Week Recap - Habitat for Humanity

This week I was lucky enough to volunteer for Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity. They are building a house in my town and I was able to help with siding and some other little tasks. It was so fun to learn how to do siding and to meet the woman who will be blessed with this home. Plus it was really fun to bond with my co-workers on the build site.

  9. I wanted to do this thing.. it was Habitat for Humanity.. Jimmy Carter helps out with it... http://www.habitat.org/how/default_jcwp.aspx it was in my city and I was all prepared to help out but it cost like a huge amount of money! I was shocked that volunteer work was going to cost money. So needless to say, I didn't end up doing it. Was kind of a bummer.
